The Intro
The Nethernet now has a way for players to talk, in real time, with other players. (bit more real time than the forums)
The Nethernet has a home on IRC where anyone can join in and chat with players. For those who are new to IRC, you now can learn all you need to know right here.
Just click the links above to learn more about IRC basics, IRC lingo, chanserv, nickserv, and botserv.

BE SURE TO REGISTER YOUR NICK WHEN YOU LOG INTO IRC FOR THE FIRST TIME
To find out how to register your nick, vist the Nickserv page. I have listed the command at the top of the page to find easily.

To get connected to the IRC, you can do either of the following things:
1. Click the chat icon from your TNN toolbar. It will log you right into #thenethernet-help. From there you can join any channel you want to chat on. You can learn about joining channels in basics.
2. Use your own IRC client and connect to the server irc.thenethernet.com. If you need information on using a stand alone IRC client, check out the Nethernet On IRC mission.
